About Wendy Woo

Hello there! I am Wendy White, the owner of Wendy Woo Limited.

Growing up, I wanted to be Mary Poppins… A “practically perfect” kind and magical nanny that all children loved and obeyed!

The idea never left me, and after leaving school I joined a Nanny agency.

Eventually, I married and had three children of my own. I loved being a stay at home mum because it gave me uninterrupted time to be on my own and explore and develop creative ideas.

As my three got older and started school, my house seemed to attract children – lots of children and these special times inspired me to become a childminder. Twenty years, twelve families, forty-eight children, and three outstanding Ofsted inspections have brought me to where I am now.

In my spare time, I sewed. I started to make little toys and rattles for the children I minded. I cut out their names in felt and made them into fridge magnets. I made little felt stars with faces on.

In 2017, disaster struck and arthritis in my thumb put paid to any more needlework for me. At fifty-nine years old, I decided to retire – but what was I to do? I’d always wanted to write, so I wrote some children’s books and actually got them published. I then thought back to the little stars that I used to make with the faces on. I sent the design to a manufacturer and My Mood Stars were born.

Jeremy Indika is a former McLaren design engineer turned speaker, podcast host, and the founder of Something to Say — a movement using lived experience and storytelling to break the silence around the sexual abuse of children.

Through his talks and workshops, Jeremy helps children, teenagers, parents, and professionals understand grooming, recognise signs of abuse, and build environments where young people feel safe and empowered to speak out. His sessions are now delivered in primary, secondary, and college settings across the UK, and are widely praised for being powerful, age-appropriate, and deeply engaging.

Beyond prevention, Jeremy also explores the complex challenge of recognising concerning and harmful sexual behaviour among children and teenagers. His work helps schools and safeguarding teams identify early signs, intervene effectively, and prevent behaviours from escalating into serious harm — protecting both potential victims and those at risk of causing harm.

Jeremy’s impact has reached local authorities, police forces, educators, and families, creating a national conversation around early intervention and child protection. He is the host of The Jeremy Indika Podcast, featuring leading voices from psychology, education, and safeguarding.

Click here for articles about the AV1 Robot

No Isolation created the AV1 robot to help educators bring learning and belonging to all children.  The AV1 is the eyes, ears and mouth in the classroom of a child who is not able to be physically present.

Karen Dolva founded No Isolation in 2015 after meeting a woman, Anna Fi, who had lost her child to cancer. While Anna Fi’s daughter was ill, she said the separation from school and normal life isolated her. This led to her suffering severe loneliness on top of the physical pain of illness and treatment.

This set Karen on a course to develop technology to solve this problem, developing the AV1 together with e.g. children, teachers, scientists and St Olav Hospital School. ‍The resulting technology is the AV1 robot, which children connect to via the AV1 app. It gives them a live connection to school, so they can learn alongside their peers and maintain a sense of belonging.

From an initial focus only on children absent due to illness, more than half of the more than 4,000 robots in use today help children with emotionally based non-attendance, SEND, neurodiversity and similar non-somatic causes.

Back in 2018, Barking and Dagenham Local Authority knew something had to change.  With the education landscape shifting, they wanted to protect what mattered most: expert trusted support for schools, focused on what children need.

Together with schools, they designed a new kind of partnership; one that’s not just about services, but about shared goals and lasting impact. That’s how BDSIP was born: not-for-profit, locally rooted, and majority owned by schools, for schools.

From day one, we’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with our education community, bringing insight, flexibility and challenge to drive real improvement.

Because real improvement doesn’t happen to schools.  It happens with them.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive and every educator deserves the right support to make that happen.  That’s why we work in partnership with schools to strengthen what works, tackle what’s tough and create change that lasts.

We’re proud of our Barking and Dagenham roots, and now we’re growing beyond, sharing what works with more schools, more communities and more children.

Inclusion Expert’s founder, Daniel Sobel, is an internationally respected leader in inclusive education and has advised the DfE, the EU and governments abroad. Daniel is a well-known speaker, writes regularly for publications including Headteacher Update and The Guardian.

Daniel left school with no A Levels and read his first book aged 18. Gradually he fell in love with study and managed to secure a place on a Master’s course in Education Psychology. He went on to take four graduate courses in Psychology and Education, eventually running out of money in the middle of doctoral training.

Daniel moved to full time teaching and quickly became a SENCO. Dismayed by how much of the job was pointless meetings and paperwork, he started designing tools to better support his students. During a stint as Assistant Head he continued to develop simple systems to help teachers manage information and maximise the impact of their interventions.

Realising that many teachers were struggling with inclusion, that his ideas really worked, and that there was an opportunity to make a difference to children across the country, Daniel left teaching, somewhat hesitantly, to form Inclusion Expert.

Over the last few years the company has grown rapidly to encompass a team of experienced practitioners who share Daniel’s vision that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential, regardless of needs, background or ability.

We realised that existing AI tools were either too generic or too complex. What was needed was a solution specifically designed to eliminate administrative burden while enhancing human capabilities. It just so happened that INFLEX was perfect for this. In 2025, TAISK moved from being a consultancy to using all we had learnt to develop and release an application for anyone to use.

We spend a huge chunk of our lives in school. Yet, the current education system doesn’t work for everyone, with the impact of school experiences often underestimated. At Codevelo, we are acutely aware of the profound way in which school experiences shapes our lives, influencing our future opportunities, well-being, and relationships, life chances and sometimes, even survival.

Our mission is to transform and enhance the educational experiences of millions of children and young people across the country. We believe that every student deserves to feel safe, included, and connected within their school community. Every child and young person deserves to belong within a positive educational experience that prepares them for a happy and safe life. This is only possible when relationships are forged and repaired, kindness is embodied, and connection is found in every opportunity. For too long, the mindset of “that’s how we’ve always done it” has held back progress.

We collaborate with schools and educational providers, offering industry-leading training, tailored support, and development partnerships to foster inclusive practices. Our goal is to enhance belonging, connection, and positive outcomes for every child.

Our approach is inclusive, ethical, and affordable, ensuring every school can access the tools and resources needed to meet the diverse needs of their students. Driven by lived and professional experience, we are passionate about original research, embracing expertise, and listening to those we support. We are ready to challenge the status quo, ask the difficult questions, and think differently. At Codevelo, the well-being and experiences of every student guide every decision we make.

Together, we aim to create a future where every child’s school experience is a catalyst for lifelong growth, happiness, and connection.

We should belong. They should belong. You should belong.
